Telluride, Co  - Through a most improbable set of circumstances, Ma and Pa Kettle (aka Bruce and Jan) spent a WHOLE week FREE (a 1/2 billion dollar value) in a luxurious condominium in Telluride, Colorado. (See the History of Telluride)  The week was phenomenal, starting with the Telluride Jazz Celebration and continuing with hiking, tennis, 4-wheeling, biking, relaxing, and (of course) eating!!

The Kettles reported the weather was unusually warm (most  highs in the mid-80's) with a few afternoon showers.  When asked about the trip, Ma Kettle stated "What an absolutely delightful place.  Why we might even pay for accommodations at a site this beautiful.  Sure beats those camp-outs Pa always wants to do" .

Pa Kettle ruminated "Telluride is to Mountains what Tahoe is to Lakes" as he wondered which Tourist Bureau he should approach with his new slogan.
