See, the folks have this f!@#'$* boat they keep moored at Lake Tahoe. "Pops" asks me for help putting it in the water at Cave Rock last spring. We get it off the trailer okay, and I get a 5 minute lesson on piloting it. Plan is for me to take the boat down to Zephyr Cove while "Pops" drives the truck and trailer down there.
Problem is the f!@#'$* approach to the boat launch at Cave Rock is hella narrow. f!@#'$* BAMM!!! Prop hits a rock. Motor stops. Starts up again. Runs fine. No harm, no foul.
End of Story??? Not quite!! We look at the f!@#'$* prop. Looks kinda dinged up, but not too bad. Couple weeks later "Pops" decides to replace it, but what f!@#'$* size is it?? Ever try to read the size off a propeller that's kinda underwater?? There 'ya go, Tahoe Pearl Diver!!! Not gonna talk about the time I f!@#'$* ran out of gas in the middle of Lake Tahoe.
